Shampoos for dry and damaged hair

Women who have dry hair should pick moisturising, vegetable oil-infused shampoos. Coconut oil, linseed oil or avocado oil shampoo will be optimal. Keratin-rich products work in the same way, adding volume, smoothness and taming flyaways during brushing routine.

Shampoos for normal hair

Every woman must be dreaming of hair classified as normal. This hair type is free of problems that affect other types e.g. sebum overproduction or extreme dryness. There’s no need for unusual care.

Shampoos for oily hair

The secret of oily hair care routine lies both in a well-suited shampoo and the right washing technique. Firstly, you must give up on hot water and choose lukewarm water whereas harsh rubbing must be replaced by a gentle massage.

A shampoo for oily hair is meant for cleaning and freshening. Herbal shampoos are highest rated, especially ones with nettle or rosemary. The rosemary-rich shampoos additionally hinder hair loss.

Apart from the basic division of hair shampoos, there are the following types:

  • shampoos for fine, delicate hair,
  • shampoos for curly, frizzy hair,
  • shampoos for blonde/dark hair
  • shampoos for color-treated hair,
  • anti-dandruff shampoos,
  • shampoos for sensitive, allergy-prone scalp.

A shampoo for fine, delicate hair aims at reinforcing whereas a shampoo for curly, frizzy hair enhances curls and smoothes unruly flyaways. A shampoo for blonde/dark hair intensifies the shade, shampoos for color-treated hair nourish, regenerate dry hair and deliver shine and rich color. Anti-dandruff shampoos fight the causes of dandruff. A shampoo for allergy-prone, sensitive scalp should be free of irritative substances such as SLS – foaming agents which may cause allergic reactions and lead to thinning hair.
